Georgian and Lead Layouts - Gridlock

A design tool for Georgian Bars, Square/Rectangular Leads and Diamond Leads.

Georgian Bars
This includes facilities for arranging rectangular Georgian grids with print-outs tailored to the type of grid for fast and reproducible manufacture. Allows manual positioning of Georgian bars when mullions and transoms cannot be moved.

You could however

Insert a vertical or horizontal bar, and position it at a specific position
Change the number of Georgian bars either vertically or horizontally
Remove any specific bar

Square/Rectangular Leads
This includes facilities for arranging square or rectangular grids with print-outs tailored to the type of grid for fast and reproducible manufacture. Allows manual positioning of leaded grids when mullions and transoms cannot be moved. The grid can be printed on an A0 plotter for the shop floor to work from.

You can change the size or number of rectangles
You can choose the window profile sizes that your customer is using
The type of square leading can be selected, eg. 6mm or 9mm wide
You can choose a default size for this type of leading

Diamond Leads
This includes facilities for arranging diamond grids with print-outs tailored for fast reproducible manufacture, with easy to read shop floor instructions, and choice of diamond being centred to the cross or centre of a diamond, across the whole window or an individual pane. The diamond layout can be printed on an A0 plotter for the shop floor to work from.

You can change the size of the diamonds, and stretch the width or height of the diamond

The type of diamond leaded can be selected, eg. 6mm or 9mm wide
You can choose a default size for this type of leading

Import and Job Storage
This includes facilities for reading transfer files from several order processing systems including Glass Office, Windowmaker (Windowmaker Software), Window Designer (First Degree Systems), Evolution and Winstar (Business Micro's), Caliburn (Merlin Software International) and Eden (Windowlink). The layout information can be permanently stored against each job for future reference, for warranty purposes.
